Fantastic Beasts 2 combines the cast of the first film with some new faces. Katherine Waterston and Eddie Redmayne are back as (spoiler alert) future married couple Porpentina 'Tina' Goldstein and Newton 'Newt' Scamander, alongside Alison Sudol as Tina's sister Queenie and Dan Fogler as American No-Maj Jacob Kowalski.
Carmen Ejogo is back as MACUSA (Magical Congress of the United States of America) president Seraphina Picquery, with Kevin Guthrie reprising his role as her subordinate Mr Abernathy.
A return that will be a surprise to some is Ezra Miller as the Obscurial Credence Barebone, and Zoe Kravitz will graduate from moving photograph to actual flesh-and-blood character as Leta Lestrange.
After showing up at the end of the previous film, Johnny Depp will (controversially) be back as the titular Gellert Grindelwald, with Jude Law playing his friend-turned-rival, none other than Albus Dumbledore.
Law has been teasing the "incredibly intense relationship" between the two, while after the news that Dumbledore's sexuality will "not explicitly" be addressed in the film, we've rounded up the history of Dumbledore's sexuality in Harry Potter and beyond.
Callum Turner is playing Newt's older, more successful brother, auror Theseus Scamander, and Brontis Jodorowsky will take on the part of Nicolas Flamel, a name fans will recall from Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone.
As we mentioned before, the final trailer for the second movie confirmed that Claudia Kim is playing Nagini and she's spoken about how Nagini isn't necessarily a villain... yet.
"It will be so interesting to see another side of Nagini. You've only seen her as a Horcrux. In this, she's a wonderful and vulnerable woman who wants to live. She wants to stay a human being and I think that's a wonderful contrast to the character," she teased.
We also saw that Jamie Campbell Bower and Toby Regbo will reprise their Harry Potter roles as young Grindelwald and Dumbledore.
Jessica Williams, Derek Riddell, William Nadylam and Poppy Corby-Tuech are also on the cast.
As for who will be seen in Fantastic Beasts 3, we'll just have to wait to see who survives The Crimes of Grindelwald first...
Behind the camera, Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them director David Yates (who also helmed the last four Harry Potter movies) has signed on to direct all four of the upcoming films.
Fantastic Beasts 2 spoilers: What happened?
So there are two major plot points that have had Harry Potter fans debating fiercely since the release of Crimes of Grindelwald.
First up, it was revealed that Credence is actually Aurelius Dumbledore, a previously-unknown brother of Albus, but since it was Grindelwald who told him, it's not clear whether he was definitely telling the truth.
And the other major point centred around the tragic death of Leta Lestrange at the hands of Grindelwald, meaning it's unlikely we'll see Kravitz again in the rest of the series, unless she appears in flashbacks.
The end of the sequel also saw Queenie surprisingly side with Grindelwald, while Nagini – who we know from the Harry Potter books becomes Voldemort's pet – ended up with Newt, Dumbledore and co back at Hogwarts.
Fantastic Beasts 3: What can we expect?
We might have to wait a while to find out exactly what the third movie will be about, but JK Rowling has potentially let slip that it'll be set in Rio de Janeiro in the 1930s after she corrected a spelling mistake on Twitter.
"Let's just say I really ought to be able to spell Rio de Janeiro properly, given how many times I've written/typed it in the last few months," she noted.
She is currently working on the script for the third movie, so it's either a hint to Brazil-based scenes in Fantastic Beasts 3 or a clever misdirection by Rowling.
For everything else you need to know about the third movie, head this way.
As noted, JK Rowling has said that the films will cover 19 years of Wizarding World history. That will take the last one up to 1945, the year that Dumbledore defeated Grindelwald and claimed the Elder Wand from him.
That was also the year that a certain Tom Riddle (the future Voldemort) graduated from Hogwarts.
All that considered, it seems unlikely that the fifth film won't feature the climactic battle between Dumbledore and his former friend. Credence could also turn out to play an important role in their struggle, especially if the theory that Dumbledore's sister Ariana was another Obscurial turns out to be true.

That 19-year period also covers the birth of Voldemort and the actions surrounding the creation of his first Horcruxes.
